Purpose:
To help grow our youth into a deeper relationship with Christ. Teaching them how to study the Word of God, that they may rightly divide the Word of Truth. Teaching them how to love and admonish their brothers and sisters in Christ.
Mission:
Our mission is not only to teach them the Truth about God’s word, but to show them how to worship in spirit and truth. Teaching them what it means to belong to the Body of Christ. Helping them to grow in Christ that they may have a desire to serve and share the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We desire to build young disciples who have a zeal to keep their hands on the Gospel plow.
Foundational Scripture: Proverbs 22:6, “Train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old, he will not depart from it”.
Essential Duties:
- We strive to teach sound doctrine that is edifying, encouraging and always inclusive.
- Our goal is to anchor them in the truth, and build them up that they may become the new leaders of Christian faith.
- Energize and equip our children to extend the love of Christ to all the world.
Our Youth Ministry exists to worship God through teaching, discipling, equipping and encouraging youth to grow in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus the Christ, to engage in their families, church and the community (II Pe. 1:5-8).
